This super high-end rod is constructed of Hextow - IM10 Carbon Fiber material, which has the highest KSI (kilograms per square inch) rating just under 1,000. This gives the rod, especially in shaft section incredible stiffness & strength but allowing the tapered tip to be light and fast action. Being constructed of only graphite fiber the rod composition of IM-10 has the highest modulus weave, is super light under 10oz and creates a well centered parabolic under pressure. IM-10 material is mainly used in the aerospace and racing industries based on it's high performance properties.
